The Battle.Net team has implemented a set of changes to the ladder. These changes address the search times for the various games. According to a post made by BWhittle, the high level players should see a large improvement in this area both for Solo and Arranged Team, but even more so for Random Team and Free For All.
As a result of the changes, BWhittle says that some players in the level 10-30 range may have a slight increase in search time, though games should normally be found after 20 to 60 seconds. The changes have been done on all servers, and if you notice any changes in search times, you can post details in this thread.
According to BWhittle, there will be more changes as well, and the next set will address xp, levels and abuse problems. No date is set for these changes. However, rumours say that there may be a ladder reset as Blizzard has checked with some top players whether they want a reset or not, and the response has generally been that a reset is wanted. |
